Description
This is Smith's Store at Waterloo Village. It was built by Peter Smith in 1831 as a general store and was unlike any other building in the village because it was on the Morris Canal. The rear of the building allowed canal boats to come up to the building to unload materials. Waterloo village is a 19th century canal town in Byram Township, New Jersey.
